From a very modest beginning in 1932 in the spiritual capital of India, Varanasi, the company was established by Late Vaidya Jagannath Sharma Bajpai (First Principal of Ayurvedic College, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi), to produce products made of Ayurvedic herbs in the most hygienic way. This golden tradition was later on followed by his sons late Vaidya Umashanker Bajpeyi and late Vaidya Vinodshankar Bajpeyi. Later Sri Ajay Kumar Bajpeyi expanded operational facilities by setting up a manufacturing plant for mass production of formulations.
